Author Anonymity

The identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors, allowing for honest and unbiased feedback without external influence.

This ensures an unbiased and independent evaluation of all submissions, free from personal, institutional, or geographical bias.

Review Process Overview

All manuscripts submitted to Ktrend Journals undergo the following systematic stages to ensure thorough evaluation and quality control:

Stage 1: Initial Editorial Screening

Submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial office to ensure:

  • Relevance to the journal scope – The manuscript must align with the aims and scope of the specific Ktrend journal.
  • Compliance with author guidelines – Formatting, structure, and submission requirements must be met.
  • Basic quality and originality – The manuscript must demonstrate scholarly rigor and present original work.

Note: Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected without external review.

Stage 2: Reviewer Assignment

Eligible manuscripts are assigned to two or more expert reviewers in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on:

  • Their specific expertise in the manuscript's subject area
  • Research background and publication record
  • Availability to provide timely feedback

Stage 3: Peer Review Evaluation

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:

Novelty and contribution to the field

Methodology

Methodological soundness and rigor

Clarity

Organization, language, and presentation

Validity

Validity of results and conclusions

Referencing

Proper referencing and citations

Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations to support their evaluation.

Stage 4: Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions:

Accept

Manuscript meets all quality standards and is ready for publication

Minor Revision

Minor changes required before final acceptance

Reject

Manuscript does not meet publication standards

Authors are provided with reviewer comments to guide revisions where applicable.

Stage 5: Revision and Resubmission

Authors are required to:

  • Revise their manuscripts in line with reviewer feedback
  • Provide a detailed response to all reviewer comments
  • Resubmit within the specified timeframe

Stage 6: Final Decision and Publication

After satisfactory revision, the manuscript is accepted and prepared for publication. The final version undergoes copyediting and formatting before being published online.
