Author Guidelines

1. Scope

Ktrend Journals publishes original, high-quality, peer-reviewed, and open-access scholarly research across multiple academic disciplines.

Manuscripts should make a meaningful contribution to knowledge and must fall within the aims and scope of the journal selected by the author.

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

Ktrend Journals may consider the following manuscript types:

• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
• Short Communications
• Case Studies
• Technical Notes
• Methodological Papers
• Theoretical Papers
• Conceptual Papers
• Perspectives and Commentaries
• Book Reviews, where applicable

The availability of a particular manuscript type may depend on the aims, scope, and editorial policy of the selected journal.

3. Originality and Exclusive Submission

A manuscript submitted to Ktrend Journals must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal or publisher.

Submission of a manuscript confirms that:

• The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
• The manuscript is not being reviewed by another journal.
• All listed authors have approved the manuscript and its submission.
• All necessary ethical, institutional, and regulatory approvals have been obtained.
• All funding sources and conflicts of interest have been properly disclosed.

4. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts may be prepared using either Microsoft Word or LaTeX.

Microsoft Word Manuscripts

Manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.

LaTeX Manuscripts

Manuscripts containing mathematical expressions, equations, algorithms, scientific notation, computational material, or technical content may be prepared using LaTeX.

Authors submitting a LaTeX manuscript should provide:

• The main .tex file
• A compiled PDF of the manuscript
• All figure and image files
• Bibliography files, where applicable
• All class, style, or supporting files required for compilation

5. General Formatting Requirements

Unless otherwise stated in the journal template, manuscripts should follow these general requirements:

• A4 paper size
• Margins of approximately 2.54 cm (1 inch)
• Times New Roman, 12-point font for Microsoft Word manuscripts
• Double line spacing for Microsoft Word manuscripts
• Continuous page numbering
• Clear and consistent section headings
• Standard article formatting for LaTeX manuscripts
• Figures and tables placed near their first citation where possible
• Equations prepared using Microsoft Equation Editor or LaTeX mathematical environments

Authors should avoid unnecessary page borders, coloured text, decorative elements, custom headers, or footers unless these are included in the official journal template.

6. Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear, professional, and grammatically correct English.

Authors should carefully proofread their work before submission. Authors who require help with English-language presentation are encouraged to obtain professional language editing.

Language editing does not guarantee acceptance. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and scholarly content of their manuscripts.

7. Manuscript Structure

A standard research manuscript should normally contain:

The exact manuscript structure may vary according to the discipline, article type, and nature of the research.

8. Title Page

The title page should include:

• A clear and concise article title
• Full names of all authors
• Departmental and institutional affiliations
• City and country of each institution
• Email address of the corresponding author
• ORCID identifiers, where available

The corresponding author should be clearly identified and will be responsible for all communication with the journal.

9. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract

The abstract should generally contain between 150 and 300 words and should be written as one coherent paragraph unless a structured abstract is specifically required by the selected journal.

The abstract should briefly present:

• The research background or problem
• The objective of the study
• The methodology
• The principal findings
• The main conclusion

References, tables, figures, undefined abbreviations, and unnecessary mathematical detail should not normally appear in the abstract.

Keywords

Authors should provide 4�8 keywords immediately after the abstract. Keywords should accurately represent the subject and improve online discoverability.

10. Main Text

Introduction

The introduction should explain the background of the study, identify the research problem, summarize relevant literature, establish the research gap, and state the objectives clearly.

Materials and Methods or Methodology

This section should provide enough information for the study to be understood, evaluated, and, where appropriate, reproduced.

Authors should describe the research design, participants or data sources, sampling procedures, instruments, experimental procedures, mathematical models, analytical methods, and ethical approvals where applicable.

Results

Results should be presented clearly, accurately, and logically. Tables and figures should be used where they improve understanding and should not unnecessarily duplicate information already presented in the text.

Discussion

The discussion should interpret the findings, relate them to existing literature, explain their significance, identify implications, and acknowledge relevant limitations.

Conclusion

The conclusion should summarize the principal findings and contribution of the study. It should be supported by the results and should not introduce new information.

11. Tables, Figures and Equations

Tables

• Tables should be numbered consecutively.
• Each table should have a clear title.
• Every table must be cited in the main text.
• Tables should be editable and should not be submitted only as images.
• Notes and abbreviations should be explained below the table.

Figures

• Figures should be numbered consecutively.
• Each figure should have a descriptive caption.
• Every figure must be cited in the main text.
• Images should be clear and suitable for publication.
• Authors must obtain permission to use copyrighted images or figures.

Equations

• Equations should be clearly and consistently formatted.
• Important equations should be numbered sequentially.
• Symbols should be defined at first use.
• Standard scientific and mathematical notation should be used.

12. References

References must be complete, accurate, and consistently formatted according to the citation style required by the selected journal or manuscript template.

Authors must ensure that:

• Every reference cited in the text appears in the reference list.
• Every item in the reference list is cited in the manuscript.
• Author names, years, titles, journal names, volumes, issues, and page numbers are accurate.
• DOI numbers are included whenever available.
• Retracted or unreliable sources are not cited as valid evidence.

Authors are encouraged to use reliable reference-management software and verify every reference before submission.

13. Acknowledgements and Declarations

Acknowledgements

Individuals or organizations that contributed to the work but do not qualify for authorship may be acknowledged.

Funding Statement

Authors must disclose all financial support received for the research.

Where no external funding was received, authors may state:

The authors received no external funding for this research.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research.

Where no conflict exists, authors may state:

The authors declare no conflict of interest.

Data Availability Statement

Where applicable, authors should explain whether supporting data are publicly available, included in the manuscript, deposited in a repository, or available from the corresponding author.

14. Research Ethics

Authors must conduct and report research in accordance with recognized ethical, professional, institutional, and legal standards.

Research Involving Human Participants

Manuscripts reporting research involving human participants should state the name of the approving ethics committee or institutional review body and the approval number where applicable.

Informed Consent

Informed consent must be obtained where required. Information that could identify an individual participant should not be published without appropriate consent.

Animal Research

Research involving animals must comply with applicable institutional and national regulations. The approving authority should be identified where required.

Clinical Trials

Clinical trials should be registered in an appropriate public trial registry where required. Registration details should be included in the manuscript.

15. Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the work.

Authors should normally have contributed to one or more of the following:

• Conception or design of the research
• Data collection, experimentation, or investigation
• Data analysis or interpretation
• Development of mathematical, computational, or theoretical methods
• Drafting or critically revising the manuscript
• Approval of the final version

All listed authors must approve the final manuscript and accept responsibility for their contributions.

Individuals who do not qualify for authorship should be acknowledged rather than listed as authors.

16. Artificial Intelligence Policy

Artificial intelligence tools may be used responsibly to assist with language improvement, grammar, editing, formatting, coding support, or limited technical tasks.

However:

• Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors.
• Authors remain fully responsible for all submitted content.
• Authors must verify AI-assisted text, calculations, references, code, and interpretations.
• AI-generated references or factual claims must not be used without verification.
• Significant use of artificial intelligence should be disclosed where appropriate.

17. Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

Ktrend Journals maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and all forms of scholarly misconduct.

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection software before or during editorial review.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Plagiarism
• Self-plagiarism
• Duplicate or redundant publication
• Data fabrication
• Data falsification
• Improper image manipulation
• Authorship manipulation
• Citation manipulation
• Undisclosed conflicts of interest
• Submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals

Manuscripts containing serious ethical violations may be rejected. Appropriate action may also be taken where misconduct is discovered after publication.

18. Double-Blind Peer Review

All manuscripts submitted to Ktrend Journals undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

Under double-blind peer review:

• The identities of authors are not disclosed to reviewers.
• The identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors.

Authors should remove identifying information from the review version where required by the submission system.

The review process generally includes:

The final publication decision rests with the editorial leadership of the journal.

19. Manuscript Revision

Authors invited to revise a manuscript should respond carefully to every reviewer and editor comment.

A revised submission should normally include:

• A revised manuscript
• A detailed response to reviewers
• A clear explanation of every change made
• A reasoned explanation where a suggested change was not made

Revised manuscripts should be returned within the period stated in the editorial communication.

20. Acceptance, Editing and Proofs

Accepted manuscripts may undergo copyediting, formatting, reference checking, layout preparation, and proofreading before publication.

The corresponding author may receive a proof for final review. Only minor corrections should normally be made at the proof stage. Major changes to the results, authorship, interpretation, or structure may require additional editorial approval.

21. Open Access and Copyright

Ktrend Journals operates an open-access publishing model. Published articles are made freely available to readers worldwide.

Authors retain copyright in their work while granting Ktrend Journals the right to publish, distribute, preserve, and make the article publicly available under the applicable publication licence.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted materials included in their manuscripts.

22. Publication Charges

Publication fees, where applicable, are stated on the relevant journal page or communicated by the editorial office.

Authors should not make payment before receiving an official acceptance or payment instruction from Ktrend Journals.

Payment of a publication fee does not influence editorial decisions and does not guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts are assessed on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, ethical compliance, and peer review.

23. Manuscript Submission

Authors should submit manuscripts through the online submission system provided on the Ktrend Journals website.

The submission should include:

• The complete manuscript
• Microsoft Word or LaTeX source files
• A compiled PDF for LaTeX submissions
• Figures and supplementary files, where applicable
• Complete author and corresponding-author information
• All declarations required by the journal

24. Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should confirm that:
